Lucid Product Installation InstructionsThe following provides instructions for installing Lucid Enterprises products. Some steps may not apply to your install: Note: This software is designed to run under Windows 2000; Windows XP; Windows Vista; Windows 7 or Windows 10. Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) is used with this application. MDAC 2.8.1 will be installed automatically if missing from the user's system.
Newer Operating Systems prevent automatic installation of most programs. The following screen shots may be displayed during the installation process.
Respond 'Yes' to this message. Click on 'More info' to continue with the installation.
Click on 'Run anyway' to allow the installation to continue. Ten steps remain to install the application after Windows grants you permission. Press 'Next' to continue. To continue with the installation, review the License Agreement and press 'Yes'.
Enter the Serial Number provided when you purchased your product. The Serial Number can be found on the back of the CD-ROM packaging or in the email that confirms your purchase. Enter 'DEMO' if you would like to evaluate the software before purchase. Enter your Name and Company Name. Both fields are required, so you may enter 'none' or something else for the Company Name. You may specify a different Install Location. Normally, you will use the default location. Press 'Next' to continue.
It is suggested that you used the default Program Group. If you want other users who have logons on your computer to run the program, set the 'Availble for' to 'All users'. Determine if you would like to have an additional shortcut to your desktop. The default is yes. All the setup questions have been provided. Press 'Install' to complete the process. This is a message to remind you to register your program. To register, go to Register Product. In most cases, you will not need to restart the computer. Just press the 'No' button to complete the installation.
